
TOM & JERRY BATTER
Ingredients
- 2 lb confectioners sugar
- 1 lb butter (3 3/4 cups)
- 6 eggs
Instructions
- Mix softened butter, confectioners sugar and egg yolks until creamy. Beat egg whites stiff, fold into butter mixture.
- Half recipe makes medium size bowl full 1lb = 3 3/4 cups unsifted powered sugar
- To make a Tom and Jerry, fill a cup of hot water with spiced rum or brandy, warm milk, hot cocoa, or eggnog and stir in 1 heaping tablespoon of batter.
