2cansgreat northern beans(15-1/2 oz) rinsed and drained
1canchicken broth( 14-1/2 )
2canschopped green chilies( 4 oz each )
1tspsalt
1tspcuminground
1tsporeganodried
1/2tspblack pepper
1/4tspcayenne pepper
1cupsour cream( 8 oz )
1/2cupheavy whipping cream
Instructions
In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and cream. Yield 7 servings.
