PEACH NOODLE KUGEL

Course Desserts, Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg egg noodles wide ( 8 oz )
  • 3 tbs butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbs lemon peel
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 can peaches sliced, drained ( 16 oz )

Streusal topping

  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1/4 tbs breadcrumbs dried
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350*F Grease 12 by 8 baking dish.
  • In large bowl, toss noodles with butter. In medium bowl beat eggs, sugar, lemon peal, salt and milk until well mixed.
  • Stir egg mixture into noodles, pour into baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes
  • Remove from oven, arrange peach slices on top and sprinkle evenly with streusel topping. Bake 15 minutes more.
