Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 2

Ingredients

  • 8 strawberries hulled
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 6 vanilla wafers
  • 1 tbs vanilla powder (or you can use extract)
  • 1/4 cup protein powder Burt’s Bees™ Protein +Healthy Radiance with Antioxidant Vitamins A, C & E in Vanilla
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend on "Smoothie" setting for 60 seconds.
  • If your blender is struggling to blend the ingredients add a bit more milk.
  • If your smoothie is too thin, you can add ice or additional vanilla wafers.

Notes

If you love the idea of the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie but want to play around with some different flavors here are some more ideas for you:
  • If you want a strawberry banana smoothie, pull back the milk to 1/2 cup and add in a very ripe banana.
  • For raspberry, add in one pint of raspberries and just a couple of strawberries or half an apple to help bulk up the fruit.
  • Mango fan? Swap out strawberries for one very ripe mango and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  • Want to throw in something green? I routinely add a half a cup of spinach to smoothies when I give them to the kids in non-see through cups. The pretty pink color won’t shine through like it does in this one but the flavors are almost exactly the same and yay for spinach.
