
CHILE-LIME SHRIMP
Ingredients
Marinade
- 1 tsp lime zest cone #1
- 1/4 tbs. lime juice
- 1 tbs. minced garlic cone #1
- 2 tbs. soy sauce low sodium
- 3 tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbs. cilantro
- 1 tbs. honey
Shrimp
- 1 1/2 lbs. shrimp medium sized peeled and deveined except for tail
Instructions
- In a medium bowl combine all marinade ingredients. Peel and devein shrimp except for tail end, rinse and pat dry.
- Place shrimp and marinade inside sealed container and place in fridge for 20 min, mix or stir halfway through.
- While shrimp is marinating soak bamboo skewers. Do not marinade over 20 minutes because the citric acid will cook the shrimp. Plug in Smokeless Broiler.
- Place 6 shrimp on 2 skewers, one through the tail end and one near the head area. This makes it a good presentation and easier to turn on your smokeless broiler. Cook approx. 2-3 minutes per side.
