Pumpkin chocolate loaf

Ingredients
  

  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can pumpkin solid pack
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate melted and cooled
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg ground
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl combine sugar and oil, add eggs; mix well. Stir in pumpkin, chocolate and vanilla; mix well. Combine the dry ingredients and stir into pumpkin mixture until just blended.
  • Pour into 3 greased loaf pans; Bake at 350 for 55- 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Cool completely; can be frozen up to 6 months.
