Potato soup

Course Soup, Soup, Stew & Chili

Ingredients

  • 6 cups potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 cups onion chopped
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 /2 cups pasta shells uncooked

Instructions

  • Cook bacon and onions, pour bacon, onions and 2 tbs bacon grease into large pot, add potatoes, water, and celery. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add pasta and cook 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender. Add evaporated milk and heat until simmering.
