
Potato soup
Ingredients
- 6 cups potatoes peeled and cubed
- 5 cups water
- 2 cups onion chopped
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup celery chopped
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 /2 cups pasta shells uncooked
Instructions
- Cook bacon and onions, pour bacon, onions and 2 tbs bacon grease into large pot, add potatoes, water, and celery. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add pasta and cook 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender. Add evaporated milk and heat until simmering.
