
Hot Buttered Rum
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz gold rum
- 1 tbs hot buttered rum batter
- nutmeg freshly grated, garnish
- cinnamon stick garnish
Hot Buttered Rum Batter
- 1 lb butter
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 1 lb sugar
- 1 tbs cinnamon ground
- 1 tsp clove ground
- 1 tsp nutmeg ground
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream softened slightly
Instructions
- Add the rum and batter into a mug. Fill with boiling water and stir. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
Hot Buttered Rum Batter
- Add all the ingredients except the ice cream to a bowl and stir to combine. Add the ice cream and stir again. Transfer to a container with a lid, seal, and store in the freezer. Refer to the Hot Buttered Rum recipe to build the drink.
